"FINISHED" my SOMs Interior - Ebony Leather and Ostrich
Well as most of you know I have been working on this for a couple months now since I posted the thread where I put all the original interior out of this car into our white 96 WS6. I tried to come up with something that was very exotic but not outlandish. The car is a show car and to compete at some of the national shows we go to a full custom interior is a must...not just off the shelf stuff. I wanted...like the theme of the car...to keep things stock appearing and just upgrade them (thus the use of stock WS6 seats instead of racing seats or whatever.) The ostrich is either a love it or hate it thing...I have always loved the way it looks and wanted to incorporate it into the interior to give it that little something that nobody else is going to have. I think it turned out perfect and I am very pleased with it. Most of the stuff is still so new it has wrinckles still in it but that will work out in time.

I can tell have more in having the ostrich inserts put in them than I did in the seats to start with though.

I would have preferred the orange over the Ostrich. I'm one of the people that have never liked the Ostrich look though. Otherwise I like it.
I created that same board over the t-top area a few years ago. Such a easy thing to make and makes the appearance so much cleaner.
Great looking car as usual.

I like it in the seats, undecided on the door panels. That's the only area where I think it looks out of place. The only thing I really don't like is how seats that are re-wrapped never look as tight as from the factory, the leather always looks looser like a recliner if you know what I mean.
But overall, your car looks amazing as always.

We are looking forward to the G14 too! I hope the weather is better this time...we plan to have both cars there again. The white car has came ALONG way since last year.
I have had racing seats before in another car and despised them!!! IMO the WS6 seats are the best looking seats you can have in these cars...I just wanted to improve on that and be different.
I plan to get a chromed 4pt roll bar soon.
One other thing I was thinking of doing is gloss black hydrocoating the window switch/door handles, the plastic dash around the gauges, the radio bezel and console top....how do yall think that would look?
