2010 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR-X Stopped By...
I just thought I'd share this with the LS1 Tech community, I know it's not a GM, and I hope this isn't the incorrect section, but this is worth sharing.
Our good friend "The Viper Man" stopped by today with a new toy for me to camera hump. Brand new off the truck from Dodge; 2010 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR-X. Only 25 of these sold thus far, and this one was obviously ordered without paint. I absolutely love factory prepared race cars, especially for $110,000, it's quite the bargain for the performance provided.
The car's heading to paint today, and then to the race track this weekend. What a wonderful life.
The camera's battery died after these pictures, so unfortunately no interior or under-hood shots. Apologies.

Nice car, I'd have definitely gone with the white/black but it's cool he got it paint ready.
Only due to exhaust, I bet you could get it titled pretty easily. Although 60HP over a regular ACR doesn't seem like a killer deal to me?

It's cheaper for the gentleman to have his friend's paint shop paint it instead. After all, it is a race car, it'll be repainted before seasons end anyway.
No sir, they are not.
Agreed. ZR1 versus ACR-X with the same driver would yield similar results on track. I'd rather have street legality and creature comforts with similar performance for similar pricing.
However, it's about what's important to the consumer, and obviously I cannot call myself a consumer on that level, so my input is moot.

For fun, Nürburgring times:
2010 ZR1 - 7:22.4
2010 ACR - 7:22.1
2010 ACR-X - Suppose to be sub 7:20, but we'll see.

:sigh: I need to make more money.
Those Vipers are so badass. I was picking up a throttle control for my '04 CTD in Sacramento and they had two ACRs. A green and black one with the big wing and a white and blue one with a little flush-mount wing. I could have drooled over both of them for hours.
