i re-sprayed it blk and looks really good again. I'll post pics soon. I dont know what to do about the lid. i wanted to spray it with clear, but it orange pealed on a small test spot i did.lucky me i was able to remove it with no problem.plus i dont want clear streaks on my lid. I'll just leave it as is for now. its in really good shape and fairly new in color.

Dude you have one of my favorite engine bays I've seen so far. I love how you combined the colors and blacked out certain parts. For my two cents though, I think painting the intake gloss black or red would kill it. IMO painting it a more factory flat black and doing the lettering in red would look so sick. That would help finish off your engine bay IMO. But anyway, good job man. Love it.

how'd you know my plan for the lid lol? I plan to get some type of monster as the design on it.. or like scratch marks like its ripping open or something haha. I nicknamed my car "The Black Beast." Kind of generic I know. One night I was sitting trying to think of one, and I suggested "The Black Beast" to my wife and we said we'd need a sign of some sort to confirm that would be it. Well 2 minutes later when I got in the car and started it up it set off like 7 car alarms lol. Before that it had never set any off. So I was hoping to find some sort of black beast looking creature to airbrush onto it lol.
Would you be interested in doing mine for me? If so, PM me and we'll discuss it I was thinking something like the resident evil monster or something.. hard to find pics online of good actually cool scary ****.
Not sure which one.. leaning toward Nemesis

No I didn't think of those but I think I'm moving away from doing the painting on the air lid as it would ruin my look for the engine bay it I think. Thanks for the ideas though!

I got my stainless braided lines from Nasty Performance. It came with the cross over line, feed line, and all the black fittings I needed. $150 IIRC. PITA to install fittings on the lines research how to do it before you attempt if you haven't already.

Thanks man ^^
I wish I could give an update to keep the thread alive but I'm currently deployed right now til Feb 12'. After that though I have some things planned like HVAC box removal, wire harness stripping and re-routing, some hydrocoating, !ABS etc etc. All will eventually lead to a single front mount turbo setup.
