Default what year ss emblem for billet grill?

so i want to put an original camaro ss emblem on my billet grill like the gmmg cars, but i dont know which year camaro to get. some guys say 69 and others say that the angle on the 69 is too much and doesnt fit properly, so for you guys who have done it what emblem did you use, and how did you mount it to the grill? thanks

its a '69 emblem i think but i also think when you get on you may have to bend it a lil to get it to work with the curve of the grille though but i could be wrong though

67-68 SS emblem fits 100% flush with the 'V' shape of the grille. As far as fastening, the emblem comes with 2 posts on the back and a retainer plate. All you'll need is some speed nuts to put on there.

^Like above, but a couple of the slats on my grill had to be grinded down in the back so the speed nuts could tighten enough.

What fits best is a 69 rs/ss grill emblem. I tried the regular ss 69 emblem and it doesn't fit nearly as good

Negative. 67/68 emblems fit MUCH more flush with the contour of the grille than any 69 emblem.

My billet grill is a Stull billet grille 36-0180.

The little 2 posts on the 67-68 SS emblem are not long enough to work with my grill, so now I have to customize the damn thing or sand down the slats. Anyone just epoxy it on there?
