INSSANE

Got a few tickets and haven't gotten a chance to get the things fixed (finals in college soon)
I need:
Pic of a stock muffler on a red camaro
Pic of a windshield (no hood, mirrors or roof can be in pix) top of windshield must be visible
Pic of side windows NOT tinted, again, no mirrors, or roof in pic

I think that's it...
ALL three pix must come from one person. They must be taken in your garage or something (not outside)

Help is appreciated!!!

The first person may be entitled to a special cigar if all the pix are supplied and are perfect for my needs!

Sounds a little suspicious to me. I don't think it's a good idea to solicit someone to break the law for you. What are you trying to do, exactly?

Even the cop told me, all I have to do is present pics to the judge.
He gave me 6 tix.
-Top of windshield tint too low (legal in the middle, but on the right and left for 1 inch it came down a little far)
-Tinted side windows
-I had my license plate sticker in the car with me, showed it to him because I just got it, and still got a ticket!
-Illegally modified exhaust
-No front plate
-I turned 21 the day after I got the tix and told him I was gonna get a new one the next day. He still wrote a ticket for not notifying sec. state of license change!

He was an *******. Park Ridge cop.
My car's battery is shot and finals are killing me! I have finals starting the day after the court date and I can't get the battery or the other stuff fixed right now. Not a scam, just can't get the damn **** done, and can't get a continuance.

I do agree that you really shouldn't have posted this here, but I do like the idea of going to the dealer ship and taking photos then with a 'lil photoshop magic you can make those tickets go right away. Not that I'd ever do such a thing.

Me pulling into a gas station, seeing a cop, seeing him leave, and then him ACTUALLY hiding and then pulling me over is not REAL law enforcement. That is stalking.

When I went back to the station to post bond he looked up in his "law book" so he could write me an extra ticket. Ok the tint, muffler, and plate...the rest was BULLSHIT.

Who has pics on a homepage? I have pics of my car up from when it was illegal, but it's not like that anymore. Who admitted to anything, I was just joking about asking for pix, who would do that?

What do you mean he deserved those tickets? Thats bullshit, how come we cant tint our windows but if you have a minivan or an SUV your allowed to go 5% all the way around?(at least thats the law here in HI) And front license plate, why do we even still use those anyways?

Dude so you could be driving the Silence of the Lambs van around with some girl tied up in the back and have 5% tint and no one would know.

I dont get half of these stupid *** laws, I think that if the state isnt pulling in enough revenue or the economy declines, that is their safety net. They just get the local law enforcement to start giving out tickets for "dark tint" or "loud exhaust" etc.

Kinda like a modern day Robin Hood. If you think Im out of my mind, what do you think the speeding cameras where all about? Dude that company from Phoenix AZ made so much revenue over here with those ******* vans it wasnt even funny. Eventually enough people complained and the vans got the boot.

Speeding tickets are just though. I have a difficult time saying that given the fact that I have a few but when I drive around now I dont wanna haul *** anymore. You get a ticket a couple of times and your not so much worried about your safety our for other peoples safety but the safety of you wallet!

The Park Ridge PD should concern themselves with other things. I am shocked that the fat *** stalked me.

If that cop was too much of a beeitch to come straight up to you and talk to you, he has some issues. I don't know why he would pull off, and hide like that. I did not create the laws in his state, the people elected by his peers did.

The law is the law, and he knowingly broke it. I have no issue with that - people choose to break laws every day.

If you do not like a law, get off your butt and get it changed. Do not hold law enforcement personnel accountable because you feel the law should not apply to you - you willingly break the law daily and are occasionally called on it.

Luckily, some are man enough to own up to it and admit they broke the law (however stupid we feel that law is)and deal with the consequences.

Life is about choices. You choose to live in a state with certain requirements regarding motor vehicles. You are aware of these requirements, make a conscious decision to disregard them, and then feel offended when you are asked to stand before a judge to explain why.

In your own post you admit you have been warned about these infractions before. How can you then (having received warnings and not rectifying the issues) be upset that you received a citation?

You want these pictures so that you do not have to comply with the state regulation, even after being cited for them! Our friends here can't see that as an issue, but your local law enforcement will...

Not everyone will coddle you and tell you it was the big bad boy in blue's fault. I am sorry that you don't feel you should be held responsible for violating your own state's laws.

I simply stated it was not wise to solicit pictures on a forum in an attempt to perjure yourself in front of a judge at the end of the week. In the end, only you can decide what is the right thing to do in this or any situation for you - breaking a new law to get out of tickets for breaking a different law just didn't seem like the right path to start down.

Honestly, I don't care about your car. I don't know you from Adam, and I wish you the best of luck. I never personally insulted anyone in this thread, nor would I.

An internet board is not the best place to look for moral or legal guidance, as you are learning here. Ask your parents what they think of the situation and the best way to handle it... they may suprise you!

Good luck with your hearings - don't drive the camaro there with the pics on the passenger seat! (has actually happened, someone on trial for Operating After Suspension and OUI driving themselves to court and crashing into another car...lol)
