I'm highly motivated now. My wife and I are going on a weekend trip for out 9th anniversary in June, sans kids. Would be very nice to take the car on the trip, just the two of us like old times.

Almost done with the accessory brackets. I'm going to powdercoat the pulleys tonight and then reassemble them. I powdercoated my new valve covers gloss black last night, but not sure I like them being so glossy so I may redo them in a semigloss black.

Sprayed some more powder tonight. Did the front and rear covers, the front because I wanted to match the satin black the engine block will be, the rear just because I wanted it clean and it was the last bit of satin I had and figured I'd use it up since it was really old and sucked for any good stuff anyway.
And here is a picture of my accessory brackets all assembled.

I'll update more this weekend. Rough week, two big projects to get out at work, plus this is finals week and I have a final exam tonight and a 10 page term paper due on Thursday.
So no working on the TA this week.

Well, I am back again.
Life has been crazy, working my *** off and going to school. Now I'm trying to put a new engine in the van my dad gave me so I can sell my Suburban to pay for my last semester of tuition. And having two kids and a wife. Yeah, I'm busy.
But I finally got off my *** and cleaned the garage and got motivated on the car again.
I mounted the nitrous tank and ran the supply line. I welded studs to the floorboard and then ran the studs through the carpet and bolted it down. Then I ran the supply line through the drain plug over the tank. I have a blowdown line coming, I'll mount that when it gets here. I also bought a new front bumper to replace the one I cut for the intercooler back when I was going to do turbo.
I also finished fabricating some C6 brake brackets for the front. I have one side mounted and am working on the other side now.
I pulled the ABS module and am fabricating a bracket that bolts in that location and then the nitrous controller will bolt to that plate. I'm going to clean up the fuel lines to hide them a little and also hide the brake lines the best I can.
Engine bay is ready for paint too!
