My engine bay and engine redo - 98 TA
Got the engine bay painted. Got a little junk in the paint, but I can wetsand it out I think. Worst case, it is an engine bay so not like it matters too much. Looks better than it did anyway.

Then my buddy building my engine called me because my engine was newer than we thought and had those oddball piston rings. So that led to me buying some .02 Speed Pro hypereutectics that had the standard rings. Of course, that has led to some other bench racing on the engine, so we'll see where it goes in the next few days.

In the mean time I cleaned up the air lid and intake and painted them. I was going to powdercoat the intake, but I wanted it to match the air lid.

And then I worked on the nitrous a little. Got the blowdown mounted and also ran one of the purge lines. Going to blow it out the fender vents.

Haven't really done much on the car other than some little stuff. I had some parts made for it. I made an adapter that I can fit a 2-1/16 gauge in the dash vent.

Not the gauge I am going to use, but one I had on the shelf.
I'm going to powdercoat it and put my air/fuel monitor in there. I'm probably going to make another one and mount my nitrous pressure in one of the center vents. I might even have holes drilled in them so they can still flow air out of them.

Nitrous is all plumbed and wired, going to get the brakes put on this week, and hopefully get the interior back together if I can find a damn upper dash panel that won't cost me $400.
Tonight I'm going to try and get my C6 brake conversion finished up, just need to figure out where the hell I put the hardware I bought for the brackets I made.
