Default Post Pics Of Painted Calipers/Brackets

Hey guys and gals. Right now my brakes are a bright red and I'm going to be changing them up. I painted the calipers and the brackets about a year ago and they're looking a little chipped from so many wheel swaps. This time I'm adding chrome CAMARO SS caliper decals and was thinking about re-painting them red and painting the brackets black. Maybe one of you guys will post a pic of some unique color-scheme that will inspire me, lol. Thanks in advance.

no more of a pain than my torq thrusts, but as we all know, torq thrust are a pain to keep clean, so when you polish your rims the brakes are just one more area to polish. not a big deal really.

I know you're asking for painted calipers but another option is to powdercoat them. It won't chip and cleans up nice. Sorry not the best picture ever (phone). It cost me $45 to have all 4 done.

Not paint. Just lots of time sanding and polishing.

Thanks for the pics guys and gals. They look great. TransWS6Am- I would polish my calipers up but I don't want all the extra upkeep of maintaining their luster. Yours look fan-damn-tastic though, lol. I think I may do the gloss-black bracket and red calipers; that should look good with my chrome CAMARO SS decals. Thanks again everyone.

Guys with the decals on the calipers...

Are they sticking to the caliper good?
Can you use wheel cleaner without worryiing about it coming off?

I never use wheel cleaner, just soap and water, but I rub over the calipers everytime I was the car and haven't had any issues. They've been on for about a year to a year and a half.

egott 91- Those look identical to my buddie's on his black SS. That's why I ordered the chrome decals just like yours, but I'm torn between all black like yours and red/black like 99 zee's.

I'm hopefully going to do mine next week if I get a chance. I'm heading down-east to Jamie's place and we're doing some stuff to Elvira, lol.

I wish I had a picture of my brothers calipers. He has red calipers/black brackets and the chrome decals. He's down at school though. Maybe I can get a shot when he comes home tomorrow.
