Any chance of this being offered with a higher cowl, like the WS9 Outlaw?

Agreed

Sorry my statement was so blunt. Looking back on it, it does seem rude.

^ha.

Q- it looks FAR better with the angled center vents. just not so sharp at the points, so they mimic the side vents and flow more with the
nostrils and the rest of the body lines in general.

its starting to look good.

Still doesn't look good. In all seriousness, the center vents kill it. I'd like to see different vents on the sides of the hood, kind of like what some aftermarket Corvette hoods have:

Like that, but not as crazy.

Im digging it with the angled center vents on the top of the hood. If they were more rounded, it would fit the LS1 F-Bodies body style very nicely. Those sharp edges just seem so out of place IMO.

Like it or hate it, at least all of the vents are uniform and consistent.

I think the problem I'm having with this hood is that the center vents are a different shape and design compaired with the fender heat extractors.

If they were all consistent, just at different sizes, it would be more uniform and more appealing. Just my opinion, trying to offer up positive suggestions and comments.

I would like to see something similar to the side heat extractors on that Corvette hood on the sides of a WS6/WS9 Outlaw hood instead of the Firehawk-style heat extractors. I wouldn't want the center heat extractors at all. Basically slotted side vents on a WS6/WS9 Outlaw hood.

I'm not digging the angled heat extractors in the center "At All"... I am still all for the original design!
Although, whatever you guys at VFN decide, your gonna have people who hate it and people who love it. Hell I say offer them in 2 or 3 different ways. Make all of the money instead of some of the money. And since you could easily make the other molds, I say do it.
But if not, Just make the first style the finished product and lmk when I can make a payment on my new VFN Hood!

Good Luck with whatever you guys' decide!

This is my opinion as well. It should have more symmetry of design. The edges of the nostrils should be mirrored in the edges for the center "heat extractors". That edge needs to have some curvature to it, the straight edges in the original design seem at odds with the rest of the flowing lines in the design.

I'm not an artist and I don't have PS on this comp so this is a rough idea in MS Paint of how I would have done it.

Guys - feedback, both positive and negative is a good thing. Being a douchebag about your opinion isn't. VFN is a classy company and trying to put out a new product for us.
Give feedback but please be tactful with your words, using 'dogshit' to describe your feelings on the hood is terrible and is a quick way to **** them off.
