your idea for the vents looks better, but you killed the nostrils. they were better as is. but again, good job with the vents

I'm not an artist and I don't have PS on this comp so this is a rough idea in MS Paint of how I would have done it.

Eh, I was trying to make the nostrils more like the Superhawk or Firehawk. I have a Firehawk hood and like the nostrils on it the best of all of them. What I was also trying to do was to make the lines somewhat parallel between the nostrils and the vents in the middle.

Here's a quick 'chop I did. It has the slotted vents I was talking about, with modified nostrils. As I said before, I'd like to see these vents on a modified WS6/WS9 Outlaw hood with no "nostril bar". Maybe make the vents a little wider. I'd also like to see larger, more spaced out vents, without the "lip" surrounding them.

Exactly what I was thinking of. I forgot the Viper had those vents. Gimme a few minutes to photoshop it.

I concur, I dont understand Why people have to voice their opinions like a second grader. Either Maturity has gone out the window, Or respect is something lost on people today.

I think it looks great.

The 08 style Viper louvers would be cool along side a hood with these nostrils too.

What would make this hood really great is a flux capacitor, and some of those Back to the Future style exhaust vents like they put on the back of the Delorean.

Edit: and some red devil horn shaped roof scoops, but that can be from another vendor.

^yeah, i think the ideas are getting a little "out there" with all these new vent proposals and what not. if any new vents get added to the original it's a lost cause.

4 vents/extractors (2 center/ 2 outer) were already a bit much, although after refining the lines it looked pretty good.

I think the main idea here boys is to take an already molded WS9 hood which have those type of extractors and just modify the nostril to flow better while adding the cowl heat extractors to really make it a completely different hood.

Ultimately, it's Q's design with VFN backing the production, so they should do whatever the heck they want, and when we get the first few on and painted, everyone who has the stock non-ram air hood is going to want one.

I personally like the slanted vents, but I also like this idea too...but keep the nostrils the same as Q's design.

OK, here's a 'chop with Viper-style side vents:

And here's what I'd really like to see, a WS6 hood without the "nostril bar" and the Viper-style vents:

Not the best 'chops, but you get the idea. I'd be all over the modified WS6 hood if it were ever made.

I took the center vents from HAZ-Matt's hood, and tried to merged it back with Q's original design.

I also cleaned up the right nostril so it flows with the bumper better.
