So my girlfriend thought it would be a great idea to slide into my passenger seat like an idiot and put a huge scratch from the bolster all the way down to the bottom seat part. Has anyone had any luck fixing something like this or even paying to get this fixed? Of course it had to happen to the passenger seat that used to be mint.... It's not ripped though the leather but it does look like it's pretty deep, it was from a button or something on her pants. I've read a few articles about using olive oil or something to make it less noticeable, but I would much rather fix it the right way even if I have to pay someone else to do it. Thanks!

Well it's good to see some productive information posted here, lol. I actually found the best fix, she's paying for it
She felt really bad. The only leather repair kit's i've seen use an adhesive to fill in the missing leather. I think I read about some that come with a textured piece of paper to give it a similar grain to the leather around it. I'm not sure if I'm going to give it a try or not... I think it's going to be pretty expensive to get it fixed professionally so I might try that first. I'll definitely take some pics if I go that route.

I scuffed my seat with a button on a pair of jeans and I managed to luckily get rid of the scuff just by wetting the leather with some soapy water and rubbing it pretty good. Guess that won't work in every situation, but I got lucky.

Thats what i was thinking meine. If material was scraped off, the only way to actually fix it and have it look 100% would be to put the material back in there. I have seen a few that have an adhesive or something to fill the space, but thats definitely not something I'm going to try myself. My dad had just a section of his leather seats replaced in his volvo and it was like $200, I cant really see spending that much money on these stupid seats, what a pita...I'm so glad I took the time to swap the in lol
