Default gauges fuxxedd after installing led bulbs?

i just installed bulbs from superbrightled and now all of my gauges are messed up

the rpm needle just stays at 7000, the spedo starts at 120 now, instead of 0, and all of my volt, water temp, oil pressure gauges do similar things and do not read right at all, and now my low water/coolant light is on

what do i do?

I would disconnect the battery, pull the gauge cluster out and re check the bulbs and re install. Re connect the battery.

You will probably be needing a battery soon.

Every time I have had a dead battery my gauges have acted up like your describing for a day or two before hand. Thats also the only time they have done that. I could be wrong, but thats what it sounds like to me.

well my gauges were working fine before i pulled the cluster, i dont see how my battery could have made this happen in the 10minutes it took me to swap bulbs

yes i did take the clear part off because my overlay was nasty looking so i swapped it with a clean one, but i swapped all the sensors off my working one, everytime i take the sensors off and re install them i get different results and placements on the needles

sounds like you got some things mixed up the needle motors need to go back in the same place the same way (dont put them in upside down) you might have to play with taking the needles on and off to act right aswell
