Which SS Badges?
Hey Guys,
For a black camaro, which of these badges would you choose?
1) OEM 98-02 black SS with silver trim:
2) EmblemPros SS Stainless Steel "Fill" Set with black fill
3) Other...?

of those two i would prob do the stainless steel with black inserts. The oe ones are nice too, but they are a bit expensive.
I put on the newer style ss badges to kinda modernize the car a bit. I still need to get a bow tie for the back. See the pics, they arent the closest of the badges, but you'll get the idea.

I'd honestly have to see the stainless on the car. No offence, but any newer/aftermarket SS badge I've even seen on a car just doesn't "look" right. I have the stock black with red outline on my car and i've pondered getting the silver outlined badges but I'd really have to see it in person.

I'm diggin the OEM badges....
The stainless badges look great....and great quality....but they just look cheap to me...seeing the stainless bling so much. Either way....they are both nice badges though

I would do the new OEM SS style like come on the newer Cobalts/Malibus/etc and leave them white/chrome. I'm actually going to use those on my Chevelle when I can finally afford some 17" wheels. Bring some modern touch to the styling to match the lsx swap.
I love the modern look and the way they pop. That or the stainless ones. Never been a fan of the stock ones with the red outline, I hate those.

my side badges are off of a trailblazer. they are a little bigger than the cobalt ones. The rear badge originally a side badge from a cobalt ss, just in case anyone was interested.
I put the vinyl inserts in because to me, the white made the badge look too big, with the black inserts, it gave the apperance of a slightly smaller badge.

i like emblempros etched stainless ones;
Gets the nice mirror of the stainless but has a dark black looking center which contrasts really well. Its like blending your options into one

I'm going with Emblem Pros. My buddy got some stainless with black-fills on his black SS and they look AWESOME. I'm going to order the full set at the first of the year. WOOT WOOT! lol Honestly, I'd go with OEM if they weren't so damn expensive but for the $, the stainless are the way to go for me.

Ssjason, I like the rear emblem, I feel like the side ones are sliiiiiightly too big.
OP-I like the OEM SS badges, that's why I kept mine on the rear instead of going stainless when I did the "Berger" panel. Instead of the stainless you could do the acrylic and have them look just like stock, but the bowtie would also be like the SS instead of red with no fill. Up to you.
