Yeah there suppose to light up but I have no idea what bulb size they are. Maybe they could tell you at the auto parts store or someone on here. Sorry I couldn't be much help but I haven't even messed with the ones on my car to know.

Might as well get leds while you're at it. Just make sure to get these ones, they are a bit cheaper on ebay:

Nevermind, I figured both out. To remover the bulb you MUST remove the wiring connectors first. Use a bent bobby pen and go in through the front where the bulb is to compress the clip holding the wiring in place, then use a small screw driver from the other side to push the bulb out. Hope this helps someone in the future

I tried pulling out the HVAC panel from the front, but it won't pull out far enough for me to access anything. It seems as if there is a thick black cable on the lower right that does not seem long enough to let me pull it out. Any help would be appreciated!

I'll have to try again, but I couldn't even get it out far enough to get my hand behind it to disconnect anything.

Just a warning and some tips, make sure the temp control **** is either at the coldest or hottest setting that way it's easy to line up when you reinstall it. It has two clips that hold the temp assembly in place, the vacuum line harness also has two tabs, one on the top right and one on the bottom left, gotta be real gentle and careful with that one. The other connections are fairly easy, good luck.
