Project OVRKILL: The BLING Phase!!!
. Appreciate the words. Hoping it rolls out of the shop tomorrow under its own power....for the first time in 10 years!!
One more vid fightin a stingy MD. Then on to some details of the experience(s) and results!
As much as I hate the dyno debate and all the multiple variables in what makes what on what, it's nice to have some local perspective. Locally, this dyno is easily 10% lower than the few known dynojets around town....consistently reads 5% less than their sister dyno across town. Figure in drivetrain losses around 18% (ish) thru a 9", thru a full, dual 3" catted exhaust and its, IMO, fairly impressive for a N/A street build.
Regardless of the dyno bench racing debate, i know MPH will tell all. Wont matter though as I probably wont be able to drive it down a track to back it anyway, so who really gives a ****
Car is home now, getting things back in order to how it looked at SEMA over the next couple weeks and put some miles on it. As siked as I am about it being on the road, I have to dial it back as this is just the next stage of system "validation". Every mechanical component of this car has been replaced or upgraded. It passed the beating on the rollers....now we have to dial in drivability. More to come....
Little idle vid in the driveway....will post graphs later in the week. Happy 4th all

Little background on a few things not previously discussed. With this less than "conventional" intake, had to relocate a few sensors....IAC, MAP and IAT.
In previous pages, I posted how we had to add vacuum rails to the intake for the IAC. Using a remote style piece, we mounted it jointly to another bracket what carried the breather / catch can. Extending the harnesss and using existing bolt locations from one of the frame rails up front, it couldnt have worked out any better.

IAC and MAP were just as easy. Extend and hide the harness going forward, found some room below the lower headlamp brackets, make a couple mounting brackets and done.
MAP (center of pic)

IAT (center of pic)

Couple random pics of breather can lines (-10) hidden from the top side that run under and around places converging next to the radiator.

And a nice view bottom side.....
