Awhile back I had a stock dipstick on my motor and wanted to shorten it. So I measured from where the the dipstick's metal tube seats into the block (where the little grommet is) to the end of the dipstick. I also measured from the end of the metal tube to the end of the actual dipstick to see how far the dipstick actually stuck out of the metal tube it sits inside. Then I cut and riveted it back together ensuring it was the same measurements as stock and it was perfect. Hope this makes sense. Hate to see a nice Lokar dipstick do some damage. Your probably ok, but just to make sure lol.

^^^^ guess what doesn't fit into an RHS block . Not sure if I want to rework or send it back. Fitting at the base of the stick hits the block before it fully seats......by a good 1/4".
Anyway, did make some progress today....
....packin 10lbs of **** in a 5lb bag!! Ive taken a few notes for the "real" brackets to be completed this winter, but for prototypes they will work fine.

This is an incredibly built and an insanely clean looking car. You sir have a simply jaw-dropping build here. I still can't get over that wicked intake manifold And the license plate is awesome
