I always thought that maybe it would be a good idea to get the windshield done in a really light reflective grade and then have the rest of the car tinted with regular black metallic tint so that it's not as obvious that it's tinted if you get pulled over (aka it would be different from the rest of the tint on your car).

Wow can't believe no one has said 3m clearview. I believe that is what it's called. It's completely clear but gets rid of glare and crap. Just like tint but minus the huge tickets. I asked about it when I got my girls car tinted last week. I was qouted 275 for clearview on my front and only 100 for 50 percent.. I don't know if I have the guts to run tint on my front glass.

I already have tinted side markers no cats darker than legal on the sides, 20%. I don't need to give the cops any more reasons to pull me over haha

I thought 35% was a sure bet for my windshield(rest of the car is 35%) but now I'm reading a lot of 50%....

the front windsheild looks cool tinted, but i can barley see at night now when the windows are up

Mine is tinted, i am not sure how much because i bought it that way. It does have the 4" strip on the top where it is really dark for blocking the sun, i would suggest getting the same. I can post pics if you all would like. And it does effect night driving a good amount, if you cant see pretty well at night i would not suggest this.

I would remove the pillars, dash pad and mirror for them to ensure they place it on correctly. Plus, I wouldn't want them putting weight on the dash pad and accidentally breaking that thin piece of crap.

Just got all of my windows tinted today. I did 20% on the sides and back and 40% on the windshield. I think it looks pretty good overall


and the view from the inside, not as bad as I expected it to be.

My tint shop told me 50% is the darkest they will go. Would I have any trouble seeing out it at night with 5% over the rest of the windows?
