Default Does anyone know what wheels these are?

I found this pic on Stangkiller's website, and I really like the look of this T/A. I am interested if anyone knows what rims these are, and if so, do you think they are 17s or 18s (I'm new to F-Bodies so I can't instantly look at a wheel on a lowered car and discern what size it is). any info would be appreciated as I really like the look of that car. If I can get hose wheels I will definetely be getting a WS-6 rather than an SS come springtime!

Here is a link if the image doesnt appear.

They ran me $2700 at the time. They just jacked their prices up so good luck. I ordered mine from MTI.

Just a heads up, you may want to check out the Bogart Road Race series rims. They are available in 16 and 17's. They are VERY sleek looking and made of very high quality polished components.

You can view them on my site near the bottom.

Default Re: Does anyone know what wheels these are?

Here's a question for you guys. What size are the stock wheels on a T/A WS-6 or Camaro SS. I know they are 17s but what is the width of the rim. When I get my F-Body, I want to put on rins that are like the fikse FM10s (that bbs-esque design) or American Racing Torq-Thrust style wheels (either the TT2 or the 200s). The size I want (diameter) is either 17 or 18". What are some alternatives that I have that would fit into this "style bracket". I found these wheels on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2402425031) but isn't 8 inches too thin for this car? I would like a slightly wider rear tire while keeping the stock 275 front width.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for all the "newbie" questions, but before i get my car I want to have an idea of exactly what I want so that I can aim for that goal. I think the fikse wheels are gonna be out of my budget, so that's why I need alternatives. Thanks again.

-Tom

What ever wheels you choose to go with make sure the offset is 50 mm or less. You can go as wide as 11 inch in the back, with minor if no modifications to the car. I would say definitely don't go any narrower than 9" on the wheel width.

Thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Regarding the 50mm, offset, that is for both front and rear?

In addition, when goig for a wider rear wheel....what offset would be best to keep, say, an 11 inch wheel tucked in as seen on Mctullis' car? Keep it at a 50mm offset? Going to a lesser offset, does that move the wheels IN or OUT on the hub.

Thanks for the information.
