Default I need to recover my leather seats...any ideas on upgrades?

My drivers seat is starting to show wear on the edge where they all do so I figure I will need to get that seat redone at the minimum but I was thinking, if Im recovering the seat, is there any upgrades I can do to make the factory seat look a little nicer?

Maybe different color stitching, colored insert, etc. Something different that stands out but not overdone. My camaro is black with I guess you would say charcoal interior (not 100% black)

Only pic I could find I have of the interior at the moment. (console was out to get repainted)

Any suggestions, post pics if you have some

Thing took forever to load on my computer, so what I could tell, was this like a spray paint thing he did or what? Either way looks good. How did he fill all the "age cracks"

There are all kinds of how-to's on there site http://www.leatherique.com/do_it_your_self_instruction/ from crack filling to dyeing the seats.

Here is one guy who used the dye on his tan leather C5 seats to turn them from tan to black.

does anyone know what the stock power front seats weigh? Just wondering how much weight is saved with the 6LE seats. It might give me more of a reason to get a set besides the great looks of the 6LE seats.

The first pic is the kit for hawksthirdgen.

The 2nd pic is of Sommer86@6LE car who had his stock leathers redone with houndstooth inserts. ( I think 6LE sells the houndstooth cloth)

I am a fan of houndstooth (obviously)...

HOWEVER, since you already have LT1 rear seats, I'll throw this out there... Just get a front set of my synthetic leather 6LE seats as your back seats will match them (horizontal lines, dark color, etc...) 95%...

I actually bought LT1 rear seats to go with my fronts...

I don't know your budget but my seats are $500 shipped for the pair...

Same seat, they just modify the frame for us at the factory to bolt into our cars easier...

Mark-I like the look of the stockers with the new covers. Do you guys sell just the stock covers with the houndstooth inserts? I looked at hawks site and they just have black and white covers, I like the red.
