So continuing on my infatuation with how much more refined the corevettes are than the fbodies (for those of you who have seen my speculation threads about 'vette gauges/ HUDs in our cars) I was wondering if anyone has swapped over the seats?

I know I've seen a thread somewhere here on the 'tech about swapping seats (from a whole slew of cars, S2000s, EVOs, racing seats, etc) I just don't recall seeing a vette conversion. Thoughts?

id like to know this too.....already got exhaust tips & rims.

just picked up the billet oil cap and fuel rail covers...seats may be a nice touch.

Yeah someone has done it in there camaro. Their is a thread somewhere in here. He just made a bracket fro the rail.

ive seen it done in a 3rd and 4th gen , but unfortunately i don't remember the link . Bsically im no help but it has been done a few times.

I was thinking more along the lines of a C6 seat. Power passenger seat would be a little more 'finished' then get the rear redone to match... Yes.

They look ok, but as mentioned above, the lumbar/power t/a seats are where it's at. I put some 02 ebony ws6 seats in my SS and it looks better and feels much nicer. Good luck with whatever you decide!

The OP has a TA. I would get aftermarket seats, but it seems like he wants to put an entire C6 interior into it.

If I were to swap my seats for any style of Corvette seats, I'd get the ones from the '89 - '90 Vettes.

I like the idea of C5 or C6 seats also. I bet they are heavy though. Maybe I need to stop worrying aobut weight so much........

There's much better options than vette seats if you are looking for comfort and over all better seats. Any other reason..go for it.

Vette seats = FAIL. Stick with what you have, they are way comfier.
