Default Help me pics some seats for my car..

Well given the cost over-runs on the drivetrain (not a bad thing.. just went first class on it).. im going have to wait till next season for the Recaros to go in..

So that leaves me needing nice seats "for now".. These are my two choices:

First Procar seats.. i like how they have a "musclecar" look to them and they look supportive..
http://www.procarbyscat.com/procarrally02.html

My other choice would be these Corbeau TRS seats, the look supportive but i worry they might be a bit "boy racer" looking.. the passthroughs are nice also:
http://www.corbeau.com/brochure/TRS.shtml

Either one would be done in black fabric..

So vote up and help me make up my darn mind

I say the corbeau, they look alot better, and the procars look cheap imo.

I like the Corbeau's much better too. I emailed you about the radiator. Did you get that?
If so, you know I'll be over to your place this week. If it's not raining, then you could sit in my Corbeau GTS's. I like em, but if I was any bigger (and I mean wider) they'd be too small. And I have a 34" waist!

Procar I've never liked the 'belt pass through'. Sorry just always looked lame to me.

the first seats, look like 92-2000 bonneville SSE seats

I would put a set of cloth firebird seats in the car, for a low cost alternative, until you can put the seats you want, if it was me, find some from a 2000+ in ebony.

I agree, those are pretty much the ugliest seat I have ever seen to go in a muscle car. I'd imagine a 600lb person sitting in them.

HA!.. funny thing is that I posted on a old-school muscle car board and they said PROCARS!!!

I think the Procar seats look MUCH better than stock seats and not near as bad as you guys make them sound.. but they are rather chunky..

Im not a fan of pass throughs either.. maybe I will just stick with stock fbody seats for now.. hmmm

id just have some 4th gen ebony TA seats in the car period. comforable. oem looking. fit the car. easy to put in, and would look at home if you use the 98 up center console and shifter...plus you can mod the back seat to fit...you can buy these things for like 6-700 for a whole set in mint shape..

take care,

Jeremy

I agree with Jeremy, but I'd probably get a nice custom set of the 4th gen seats. If not then the TRS's.

i used to own a set of procar rallys and they are very comfortable. i've sat in both seats and i know if you got procars you would like them.

although, i know you have decided on recaros in the end look at these.

I like the 2nd ones. I don't think they look ricer at all. You should get them in the black leather if your worried about them looking ricer. I wonder how much more it is though? I think if your going to make an updated old school car then you should use updated seats. The 1st ones look to cheesy. The material looks like the stock seats in my 70 Chevelle.
