Default Smoked side markers

Is there any decent way to make the stock side markers clear or smoked?

I did mine when I blacked out my tails. VHT Nightshade with Duplicolor clearcoat over top. Turned out perfect.

Ive had 2 sets of clear ebay crap and both times the plastic has seperated. So I VHT'd my stockers and they look good. Just enough light comes thru to be "legal"

Easy, VHT Nightshades like mentioned above. Take them off, wipe them down with alcohol (not your beer) and then give them a few coats of the VHT. Dry's fast. Here is a pic of mine.

Don't waste your time spraying, ***** ghetto imo. Buy them smoked from ebay, had it done on my old Camaro and looked mega raw....

Idk if you can see them.

My fronts were clear though but your pewter would look SICK smoked, non sprayed.

$44 compared to $12. I would choose to spray them.

How do you think "smoked" lights are smoked? If you do it RIGHT it doesnt look ghetto. Professionally tinted lights are sprayed.

No ****. Looks just as good and gives you a sense of pride knowing you did it.

VHT is only used for Clear Plastic, it doesnt have enough coverage to paint regular things..

Here is what I used for my whistlers.

I love this spray paint because the spray nosil is almost like a real Spray Gun. Paint comes out wide and even.

I don't use any other type of spray can, these are the best I have used and i've used hundreds over the years.. Although, I mostly spray with my air gun now but in a pinch these are great.

Do you need to take off the turn signals to spray them?

Is there a lighter black, like grayish cause I wouldn't want to spray them pitch black like the examples I just seen on this page.
