"SharkHide® is the ideal long-term protectant for steel, aluminum, copper, brass, stainless and fiberglass"
Just saw this on "Gearz" or "Trucks" TV show this week. Never heard of it. This thread since 2010. What's the Jury say about the stuff for long term and steel/aluminum use?
Is it as great as advertised? Does it wash off easily, like with WD40?

i have heard good things about adams products but nothing spectacular....i would browse the forums on autogeek.com for proven products. i think you could spend alot less and get better products if you do some research. Chimcal guys, duragloss and poor boys make great products with the budget minded person. i have detailed many customer cars with their products with outstanding results.
with your car being black, i would suggest you use polishes, waxes and sealants designed for darker colors.

I've used this method on several cars with outstanding results. Before I owned my makita rotary though, I did them by hand with M105/M205 with pretty solid results. Sealed them with blackfire wet diamond.

Unless he had his done custom, Fikse wheels are uncoated. Try Chemical Guys Metal Shine with microfiber towel.
Good luck.
