Not your typical eBay Switchback LEDs
I bought a set of iJDMtoy.com's special "dual-color LED" switchbacks. They are special in that each SMD LED is capable of producing two separate colors. Whereas with the competitors LEDs, they have to have separate LED modules for each color. In theory, that means that a 60 LED dual-color LED bulb has twice the light output of a 60 LED single-LED-colors bulb (30 white + 30 amber).
Threw them on my friends C5 Z06 to compare to his JWMotoring switchback LEDs:

I bought them for $50 shipped from this link:

I'm still working with an issue with them on my car. When the headlights are on, they are white, and when you hit the hazards or turn signals, it flashes white-yellowishwhite-white instead of white-amber-white. I am hoping that a different flasher module will fix this, and will be trying to purchase one eventually.
On my car, right now, it works like so:
Lights off:
Amber running, flashes amber-off.
Parking:
Amber running, flashes amber-off.
Parking w/fogs:
Amber running, flashes amber-white.
Headlights:
White running, flashes white-yellowishwhite.
Color temp is about 6000k white. I'll be buying some 6000k HID bulbs for my fogs soon to replace the 5000k it currently has.

Nice find.. Would an ls1 have the same issue?
Does anyone know if at night from a distance you can see the amber lights with fogs and lows on? I have hids in both so they are very bright.I love the amber look, looks aggressive. But if you cant see it ill pick a set up. I woupd check myself but my car isn't running atm.

The engine has nothing to do with the headlight wiring harness or the flasher modules.
That's your answer.
I'll check tonight.
