315/35/ZR17's rubbing out back
Okay guys, I need a general consensus. I want to put 315/35/ZR17's on 17x11 out back with all stock alignment. For those of you with same or similar set-up, did you have inside rubbing issues or not?
If so, how did you rectify the problem?
Just about to order wheels and tires, and don't want to get in over my head. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
Thanks

Re: 315/35/ZR17's rubbing out back
I have had absolutely no problems with them on my car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> As long as you don't lower your car you should be fine with the correct backspacing (I believe it is 50mm) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Good luck !

Thanks Brad. That's what I was hoping to hear.
I noticed that you live in Rogers Park. I am near Irving and Western.
Next time you see a Yellow Collector Edition WS.6 in the area, give a honk. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" />

Re: 315/35/ZR17's rubbing out back
I got 17x11's w/315's out back and I needed to "modify" the drivers side inner fender at about the 7:00 to 8:00 orientation for clearance. There was about 1/10th of an inch of clearance there, but I knew it would rub on the first hard turn.

Re: 315/35/ZR17's rubbing out back
I got 17x11 ZR1s out back on a stock height WS6 with 315/30/17 Nitto 555Rs on them with absolutely no rubbing issues. Even with hard cornering and rough road bumps.I did order an adjustable panhard rod (just in case I needed to center my axle) but drove it on stock one and had no problems. Fitment is the most important factor with larger rims/tires. Ask Todd for help. he knows all <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: 315/35/ZR17's rubbing out back
I've had 315/35-17 Nittos and 315/35-17 Kuhmo Victoracers (about an inch more section width) on 17x11 ZR1's w/50mm offset. Neither had any rubbing issues at all. I'm lowered about 1.25" all around.

Thanks for all the input guys. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
I'm ordering my 315's today, as well as new rims. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I will post pics when they are done. Probably not for a couple of months.
