Default MTI clear lid or Volant dual cone cai?

I currently have an MTI clear lid with a K&N filter on my WS6. I have a guy that wants to trade it for his Volant. I like the look of both. Which do you like better?

Wasn't the MTI clear lids kinda a hit or miss type thing with them fitting right or not? But OP, I'm with you, I do like the looks of both so I can't really be of any help, lol. Sorry.

He said someone is interested in trading so I doubt he'll be selling the MTI. But my vote goes for the dual cone volant I've always liked them

Volant, it works better. My tuner told me he could watch the IAT drop almost instantly as soon as the car started moving

^^^That's because of the ram air though . I'd go for the lid just because I like how it looks better.

Volant vote here. It even makes a cool sound from the nostrils when u rev up. U can hear the air being taken in

I have an MTI clear lid and I have no issues with seal/fit at all. I also like it because it looks rather streamlined and fits in there. The Volant looks too big and bulky in my opinion and almost takes your attention away from the rest of the engine.

Use the one that doesn't look like two dicks.

I figure that's the closest thing I can relate them to lol. Regardless, don't use the Volant.
