Default Detail: Good dead for the year, Moms black SUV

Got to finally detail my moms SUV, the thing was a nightmare.. She really doesn't take care of it.. The paint was severely swirled, tons of tar, overspray, scratches (some through the clearcoat) etc.. I didn't really have the time to Claybar to try and remove the overspray so in some cashes the overspray still existed but I need to detail the truck again because it was in such bad shape.. Also, the Tar is so thick it's like cement and can't get rid of it.. I am going to have to investigate some tar removal products...

The truck has 116k miles, interior was a nightmare

Anyways I started off with Adams Green and Orange swirl removers (green, orange pads) and after doing a test section I noticed the cut wasn't enough.. So I switched over to Megs105 w/ LC orange pad and got much better results.. I ended up polishing with Menzerna 85rd w/LC Black Pad (great stuff by the way) and sealed with Adams Sealant..

Also, don't mind the tire gel (I hate using that crap but it's all I had left and didnt have time to run and get something else or order my Zaino Tire Care)

Damn looks a lot better. Good job!
For future Stoners Tarminator Works great for Tar. It can also be picked up at wal mart and just about any auto store.

With everything about 7 1/2 hours, I spent most of the time trying to get that tar off the wheels.. Raw Knuckles

She was pleased so it was worth it.. Now i told her to take care of it, we'll see how that goes haha
