Default Black Corvette Z06 3-day correction

Some repainting had been done on the first half of the car. I didn't get a lot of before or in-process pics as I was pressed for time, but it was pretty bad, so my client just turned me loose to do whatever was needed to make it look new again. After about 22 hours, 95%+ correction was achieved.

Correction:
-rotary M105 on LC PFW
-PCXP D300 on Megs MF cutting pad
-PCXP Menzneran 85RD on LC black (2 passes)

Water beading from the glaze used at the body shop. This needed to go.

Foaming with Dawn

Glaze stripped and paint showing a lack of beading

Pics out in the sun after compounding and first stage of polishing. Final polishing yet to be done.

Finished pictures

Thanks for checking it out!

NICE!! May request that you request from all sports car customers that you get a startup and idle vid of all cars?

Where did you get that foaming gun from? Also what is the reason behind the foam?

You can get it on any of the detailing sites, but you can get it cheaper at Amazon. Foaming the car softens up the dirt on the surface allowing you to rinse some of it off before ever touching the car. It reduces wash-induced surface marring.
