I just went and looked at my Trans Am ad see what you are talking about with the two braces... Let me know what you end up doing on yours to make it close that gap, I will do the same on mine.

If that is the only thing you have to modify to get these to fit, I think its well worth it. It will make the finished product look a lot better!

Right on. I'll be off work for a little while so I'll dremel out the cut outs for you at home. I'll have it ready by next week.

I figured you'd need to trim that down. When I do get mine I'll make some little covers in the area that this main cover doesn't cover. I've got a couple ideas to add.
