So made some nice changes over the past couple weeks since I got my camaro. I got a cowl hood, grill, HID's, and blacked out what I could. The stock wheels had some really bad pitted chrome so I painted those. And yes I did switch out my SS hood (I'm aware there is a lot of debate about this). I bought the SS from my brother who's had it since new and kept it stock its entire life. When I bought it my plan was to change it as much as possible to make it "my own."
Anyways here's some before and after...
The day I got it.

How it is now.

I do still have the hood, I put up a classified and was interested in trading it for a nice complete nitrous system or p&p'ed 243's or some 11" wide wheels with nice tires or $600.. A member on here "Raise" has already called first dibs on the hood for $600 and its down in San Diego right now and I'm at school in Chico, so when I go home in a few weeks I will ship it off to him. It has two pretty big scratches on it from hitting a piece of cardboard on the freeway but no actual damage and he plans on painting it anyways. I understand its a nice hood but yea I'm just going a different route now.
And yea I need a little more muscle to pull off a cowl like that. I don't think 4.10's and a 224 cam will get the job done which is why I'm looking at nitrous and some ported 243's.
