Default Finally got my Sunoco hood painted

Finally got the hood painted, still haven't gotten a chance to align it properly yet, but still looks amazing. Added the c6z wheels, strano springs and bilstein shocks around the same time. It's a freedom designs spoiler and 4% tint

Last shot also has my little brothers 98 ws6. Only plans left for the appearance of my z/28 are maybe a 1st or early 2nd gen z/28 badge on the front grille and removing the side molding.

looks great! Ive seen a sunoco hood fit good, it just takes a long time to get it right and I belive modification to the hinges are necessary to get it all right.

Great looking car! Black corners and de-molding would complete it..

I love it! I think it looks a little better without the stripes on the hood but all in all it looks BAMF!

Hood looks nice, but I have always preferred the hood scoop. Without being too critical, the hood looks a lot brighter than the rest of the car, looks like the paint wasn't blended to match the rest of the car if I'm not mistaken.

And OMG, what the hell is up with that spoiler? Give me a good shot of the rear, but from the side view that spoiler is hideous, in my opinion. It's aftermarket, right?

ALSO, what kind of headlights do you have? I am really digging those, want to get a set for my Camaro.

I for one, love that spoiler... Well I prefer the rk sport 3 piece one cuz it looks like the dick harrel cars, but if funds were tight I'd get that one...if I had a regular z/28.

Yeah, I think it'll fit great after I actually work on it. I haven't messed with the fitment at all.

Thanks, I was thinking black marker lights and tinting the small rectanglular ones on the sides too.

thanks, I liked it plain white but i felt it was too much white, the stripes help break up the white a little.

The hood is brighter, I had it painted alone. I had hard enough time finding a shop that would paint/clear it for a reasonable price, let alone blending the fenders. The spoiler is aftermarket, called a freedom designs. I really love it. I don't think I've ever seen a camaro locally with it. Helps to stand out from every other camaro that has an SS spoiler.

The headlights are stock, I just wetsanded and used a 3m restorer kit on the lenses and did the full whistler mod.

my hood is the same way, when i had it painted it was brighter than the rest of the car, but honest i wanted to wait on paint, i got my hood painted for 120, i couldnt be happier, the car will be repainted in a few years anyway, i think the car looks good, hood looks good on there, hey haters going to hate lol, cant expect to get all good comments on tech lol

I personally love the combo of the hood and spoiler. They complete the look of the sunoco cars. Great looking car man.

Looks good. I think it would look better with the black corner lights mentioned. I'd also go black wheels if you are going to have black accents.

If not I wouldn't use too much black...

How much $$$ do you have into the hood?
