started applying the bondo
![](http://s15.postimage.org/xe3r76zaz/IMG_20120408_00101.jpg)
sanded down the bondo with 220 grit then worked my way up to 1000 grit

2ND day:
started taping off the car getting ready to paint it

couple layers of primer later, then once it was dry i wetsanded to get out
the imperfections.

got 3 coats of black gloss on there
![](http://s13.postimage.org/i01cbkfvr/IMG_20120413_00140.jpg)
just put a couple coats of clear on there

waited 2 days for the paint to cure...

looks really good man! just as a heads up though can primer will fill 500-600 grit scratches with ease. no need to got all the way to 1000 grit on body filler. not trying to criticize just trying to save you a little work the next time so you'll have more time for drinking!

that part was a PITA, literally what i did was i took gutter guard, cut it to the size i needed, then rolled it up so i could fit it in through the front, then unrolled it while reaching from the top of the bumper and straightening it out. not fun t say the least but looked good once i had it done.

Looks really good in the pictures but that would drive me crazy knowing that the bondo is going to crack eventually and the tape line around the opening shows.
If you plan on getting the bumper profesionally sprayed anytime soon at least you know how sweet it will look and just use the proper filler beforehand so no worries of cracking.
