If you have the bumper CETA'd then it'll look just fine. I got used to mine being tipless real quick and now that I have tips again I kinda miss the tipless look.

I love the look of them w/out tips. Mine are currently off since I am chopping up my exhaust. I will get some more exhaust bends and weld on some hangers and eliminate the tips soon. Looks great

Not to sure on the exhaust tips for trans am but the stock tailpips on my formula are ugly as ****. I have a true dual kit which dumps before the axle that is not installed yet I am running full 3 inch pipe from my hooker super comp headers back and also considering the idea of a side exit but not sure with which tip to go with i have 3 inch scavenger turndowns if i were to keep it under the car or twin upsweeps but not sure how to make it look right coming out of the side.

Do not run it out the side...

I like it with no tips... Dumped with 1 chambers look perfect IMO. CETA mod is a must with this route as well.

eh, not a fan myself. I'm planning to go dumped on my next exhaust set up, but I'm hoping to find a way to do some dummy tips. If I cant I'm running it out the back

I kinda think tas look great with the 4inch corsa clones, its worth it imo to run it out the back, what exhaust are you planning? Tips look dumb imo on a camaro (tipless or cme looks great though) but imo there meant to be on a bird, its up to you though

Neither of us have tips. It's a love hate relationship. Some days I miss them some days I like it without

I say dont. I cant handle TA's without tips. If the bumper didnt have holes for them then it might be ok but otherwise I think they are a must.

Really depends on the car. For instance, on a blacked out car, it'd look good. On a car with a chrome/black theme like mine, I don't think it looks good without tips.

For less than $20, you can easily dummy mount whatever tips you want

Here is a pic of my WS6 without tips. It's got the Texas Speed True Dual Exhaust. I did the CETA mod on my bird before I put the exhaust on, but like others have said earlier in the thread, no exhaust tips and CETA mod look good in my opinion. Plus, the sound of duals dumped is the ****.

Do it. I was apprehensive about doing at first too, but I'm glad I did. As stated CETA mod is a MUST to pull this off IMO.

CETA mod or not, it looks odd without tips. I'm going the exact route of VinR1 up there. that is perfect.. you get good looking tips that look great with the car, and the benefit of not having to do the normal maintenance with them getting dirty from the exhaust. win win

I kinda like it without the tips and with the CETA mod. A bright color that makes the CETA pop really helps, though. That said... I still love oval exhaust tips.
