Default VHT wrinkle black on LS1 intake manifold

cleaned up my LS1 intake manifold and painted it wrinkle black to match the theme that will be under my hood. i also plan on doing my valve covers on my 4.8

taped off injector bungs and other areas

applied 1 coat of adhesion promoter

applied 2 thick coats of VHT wrinkle black

waited 30 minutes for it to flash then used a heat gun to activate the wrinkle..

came out GREAT..its actually very durable as well...i used the VHT wrinkle black on my turbo 302 and it never flaked or peeled.

here is a picture of my GT45 turbo

Looks sick on the turbo. What if you want to change it up later? How does crinkle come off?

So with your intake I would assume you didn't sand it down and got the extra wrinkle look?

I want to do my valve covers wrinkle black and that intake looks nice! those were literally all the steps you took to do that?
