Default Trans am Carpet Dye with Dupli Color Vinyl carpet paint Gloss Black Before and After

I have always hated my carpet and it never matched anything it was stained they would never come out. I decided I would take a shot and paint it with the duplicolor vinyl capret gloss black paint. It has been 2 months and its holding up great. Yes in the beginning it smelled like paint horrible but I use the glade odor eliminator and amazingly it worked just as well as this paint has. Here is a lot of pics of the beginning and the outcome. I am very pleased. It took me 6 cans and I layered it on very well so it would last.

Is this a spray paint? If so how did you keep the overspray down? Looks great BTW!

Thanks guys, I wanted to share my results Just tapped up the center and doors and the windows and no over spray, Cost me $48.84 for the cans, $3 for the febreze lol. $3 for the tape. For a grand total of amazing looking carpet and a fresh smell $54.84. Also the lighting makes a few spots look a light and not covered but they are, they are not faded.

I would never do floor mats. I did the carpet all the mats cover the floor, it has held up strong for 3rd month now. But I guess time will tell. I would recommended this to anymore looking for a cheap alternative to new carpet.
