dammit...... sucks for sure. This is why I do the ole fuel pump relay swap. Get you a fuel pump relay and cut one of the tabs (I usually cut the one going to the pump) and install. I was shown this trick from the dealer I bought my car from. I got the keys, jumped in and cranked away. NOTHING..... Then he comes out with the other relay and tells me about his lo tech security system.

car is done... updated the first post
thanks.. when I went and found the car it felt like I had to identify a dead family member at the morgue. worst feeling ever. drove up and saw the car, from the front it looked fairly normal, but then I saw wires hanging from under the car.. instantly knew the drivetrain was gone. Just got worse as i really got to look over the remains.

The idea of theft recovery is great. I wouldnt bother with lojack, I had it and had a car stolen and never recovered. I had a different security system put in on the car I have now. Its a gps based theft recovery which guarantees recovery in 48 hours or your purchase price of the car is paid to you. Even if its got 1 payment left. Ill grab the pamphlet tomorrow. Lojack last time I checked is frequency based so if its scooted out of town or state quick they probably wont be in range to find it. Either way something is better than nothing.

UPDATE:
The car was recovered and is back home. It was found about 40miles away in Oakland, Ca. No rims, no motor, no transmission, both bumpers are trash, one fender is cracked, tail lights and the center panel are all cracked/damaged. Headlights don't seem to be in working order. They did leave most of the interior, but it's a mess, all of the speaker and other wires were cut, and the trunk is full of antifreeze for some reason. they took the little random accent pieces I added, cf vinyl wrapped door sills, firebird shifter ball, cf antenna, etc. and then wiped the whole car down in some sort of oil, I assume to cover any prints or with the intention of burning it...
So in short, the car is a big POS.. No, I'm not rebuilding it. wish I had better news to share, but I didn't get so lucky.
Also didn't realize I left some camera gear in there, which is all gone.
Thank you to everyone who helped spread the word. The car was spotted by someone who had seen the info on instagram.
I'll post up some pics of the car tomorrow during the day

My car was stolen last night, so figured i'd do one last post of how it looked currently. c6z wheels powdercoated all black, 18x8.5 245/40 up front with 27mm adapters, 18x10.5 295/35 in the rear with 15mm adapters. BMR springs up front, Sportlines out back with HH mod done
This is the last picture I took of the car. I just took this pic one night ago.
with the way these stolen car situations usually go, I don't have the highest expectations for seeing it again, unfortunately. I'll keep hoping it gets found in one piece, or at least with most of it there, but for now it's gone.

Sorry to hear about the damage done. The oil does seem like either burn it or try to cover prints. If they really worked, they would find finger prints. But, either way, sorry for the loss. Cant wait to see what you do next?
I'll keep my eye out here in Tx. Never know.
well, that just freakin' sux James, sorry for the loss man. I hope they find out who did this, I got some of my ideas for my own car from some of your update appearance threads, and that was a true work of art you had.
Not to get off point of this thread, but elaborate on its location and appearance. What about pulling a fuse to stop it dead in its tracks. It would be a pain in the *** to re-install every morning but it would give you a piece of mind a night.
