my car is a black 2000 Camaro SS with a dark candy apple red/black/and chrome theme...

here are a couple ideas i came up with to paint my car...

to say the least, i'm ready to pull my fuc$in hair out thinkin about what i'm going to do with only 1 day left to decide...

2 or 4. I don't like scoops painted one color. Subtle hints are better, like choice two. Originality would definitely be choice 4.

I'd go with 2. I'm not a big flames guy, and I prefer clean lines to huge crazy stripes.

Of course I like flames but I would have to see some of his past work first. However, stripes always look good! Go with #2!

omg, this is confusing! i seriously can't make up my mind!

my car is getting some engine work done, and tommorow, it goes directly to the paint shop...juss worked out that way...

lets try this, explain more of why u picked what u would like to see...i like option #2, but it seems maybe too subtle...option #1 is cool too, but maybe too much? lol...and the flames, price is an issue, i juss kinda threw in the dark candy red anniversary stripes option, but it would prob. look good too...this color is realllllll deep, nothing close to the regular red on our cars...

please keep the opinions rollin!

say i went with option #5...my theme again, is black/candy red/chrome...

ok...i'm thinking will all the options...the red is gonna stand out too much...maybe i should just do option #5 with a dark charcoal or metallic silver look...

under the hood, all my parts are candy red...no silver, would this be ok to do a full paint scheme in a silver and not have another silver piece on the car???

hmmm...maybe i could even ghost the stripes, like gunmetal ghost stripes??? even if i were to go with a dark candy red ghost stripe, maybe too much still...juss seems like too much red on black looks tacky...that might be kinda cool? subtle paint on outiside, then crazy candy red in the engine bay with chrome...****, even my FRC's are black with dark candy red ghost flames...could be very cool? juss want to make sure gunmetal would still keep with my theme...i think i'm right by saying that since its metallic, its neutral, i could get away with it...



PLEASE GIVE ME MORE ADVICE!!!

I was recently in a similar position as you when I had my car repainted. Fortunately for me though I knew I wanted flames. After a week of stressing over a decision, I went with a light silver metallic ghost flame. I really wanted a pearl color, but the only pearl colors I liked, looked hot pink on my red car. However, with your car being black I think any pearl color would look great. The dark candy apple red flames would be interesting too.

So my vote would be (in order): 3, 2 and 5.

I guess it really depends on what kind of statement you want to make. Me, I wanted something subtle, but something people who really knew what they were looking at could appreciate. Not something too "loud" or "look at me".
