New SLP SS grille.
I had almost lost hope but it came by UPS today and looks great.
This thing is really glossy black and I'd like to keep it that way so I need to know what the best thing is to use on it for a finish protectant.
I always used carnauba wax on the old '93 Z28 but if there is something better for this brand new plastic grille I'm all ears.
Not so much worried about rock chips and such, she'll not be a daily driver.
I'm thinking more like UV protection and something that will keep it from getting scratched while trying to wash bugs and road grime off after a drive.
She'll be garaged most of the time and only come out on nice days, any sand or gravel on the roads left over from winter and she stays in the garage 'till it's cleaned up.
Proper washing techniques are more important to keep it looking good and have the least amount of wash induced marring.

I thought it was just colored plastic but looking at it close it does look like it may be paint. Anyone know for sure? The back side is black plastic but doesn't have the glossy finish that is on the face of it.
