Did you get it done at a local shop? I'm guessing you cant really take the cover off like you can on the TA's headrests...

Actually I did remove the entire seat cover, similar to the TA's Headrests. Robert Stauffer, a member on both of the LS1 boards did mine. They were the first leather set attempted by Robert and they turned out great.

Be sure to get some QUALITY embroidery or you will kick youself later as your seat covers are not so cheap to replace like a TA headrest would be.

I believe Robert goes by 1BadBird around here. DO a search for embroidery and you will see him in some of the posts.

I have the same embroidery as SS LS1 (after his recommendation) from Bob Stauffer, except I have red outline...they look awesome...the quality of Bob's work is so high, that most who have seen them ask if they are OEM.

It is a Vinyl decal from Brent on Cz28.com. Looks GREAT. You would not believe how many compliments we have had.

Plus it has held up for 5-6000 miles so far and us sleeping in the car one night on them.

I'm with you NufNuffZ28, I like my vinyl decals too. If I had the money I would love to have custom embroidery. But for $10 they look pretty good.
