Does anyone know of a write up to do this mod or how to make this setup?

I believe I have seen mix reviews on the autotrix but that was years ago. I would be interested to see how it works for you

All I can say is it worked great for my old 98. It won't fix a dead motor, but it might help a weakened one just by not having the voltage drop (as it did with mine), and prolong useful life of a new motor.

Some people here have gotten very angry over it, but I don't know why. Electrically it makes total sense with the voltage drop caused by high current on thinner wires over a long distance. And how can you argue with 1st hand experiences like mine where the motor went from creeping slow to faster than the brand new driver's motor? Yes, the primary fault would be the motor itself, but voltage drop obviously isn't helping matters.

I've had one installed for years, haven't replaced a passenger motor since it was installed.

i'm making a kit for my '02 as well now. Should have about $25 to make my own setup for both sides. I have the wire already and they show how to wire it up on their site

Are you just going to ditch the express down on the driver side? That's what I was figuring on doing with mine since I always stop it before the window fully bottoms out (I don't like the stress it causes to the door when it hits bottom and bows the panels).

there ya go. It's pretty easy really. My relays don't have the same colors so i redid my own diagram. Yeah i don't care if it has the express down on the car.

I've had mine since I wanna say 2010. Speed wise, it still keeps up with my driver side window 👍
