Has anyone run the Mas seats (formerly 6LiterEater) in their 4th gen? I am 6'3" and looking for something that sits lower than the stock seats, while maintaining somewhat of a stock look to them.
Open to suggestions as well, I am 300lbs so most race seat wont work for me, this is a daily driver not a track car; the main goal is to sit lower.
If you want lower than stock DO NOT get these seats. I'm 5'9 and have them, after the initial install (using they're brackets) my head was almost touching the roof of the car. I had to remove the brackets, cut them down and have a friend weld them back together. Even then, it's still higher than factory, save your time and money and headache. They are ok seats but meh
i have corbeau a4s i think and they made me sit up higher too. stock will be the lowest you going to get i think . Look into having the seats customized with more padding and then recovered . But those seats and brackets sat high .
From my experience:
- The bracket is not a direct fit You will have to widen all of the holes, one a lot.
- The nuts that are "welded" on the bottom for the bolts are poorly welded. One of mine broke when I was tightening the bolt.
- The Alien bolt that holds the back on the base comes out. Mine came out twice, so I put locktite on it
- Mine have to be replaced after 3.5 years. 2 of those years I was only home for half of the year.
Needless to say, I will not be a return customer.
I too am 6’3” but don’t have a height problem but a legroom problem. Have you ever noticed how much more room there is behind the front seats when they are all the way back?
I just ordered these for both front buckets and hope the extra 2” of legroom will do the trick.

I received the extenders today, three bolted up fine, the rear door will either need to be ground to fit or I can drill a new hole and tap it.
i am leaning toward the later.
with that said, I like the additional leg room, I can tell the difference when I get in and out.
the brackets are about 1/4” thick so they raise the seat that much…not good for us tall guys.
Before After Need to move the cover Won’t line up, I think I will drill a hole and tap it. You can certainly see the difference between the modded drivers vs the UN-modded passenger
Ive had my 6LE seats for a couple of years now and theyre already showing some significant wear. especially on the driver side bolster. I also bought the brackets for them so I'm curious if I can reuse the brackets for other seats
