F body wipers, why do they have to be gay???

Default F body wipers, why do they have to be gay???

Ok the wipers on my firebird, after i turn them on, do not go down all the way. How can i fix this???

Are you talking about if you leave them on just on a low setting, or they dont go down period even after turning them off? Cause I know on some cars the wipers dont go 100% unless they're off.

They don't go all the way down until you turn them off

I know they don't go down all the way unless completely turned off. When I have them completely turned off they do not go down all the way. I will cycle the switch on and off and after about 10 or more times they will finally go down all the way. Or sometimes I have to get out and actually push them down by hand. My friends 96 T/A does the same thing. Any way to fix this????

BTW they only stick up about 2 or 3 inches from being completely down.

i had that problem to on my 98 Z28 but it fix it self and they work fine for now,
weird i think

ya mine are real bad about it. they still do it, i dont drive my car in the rain a lot, but i just want that to be fixed because im **** about that kind of stuff.

Ohhh I understand, your wiper motor might be out of wack, The brain part of it. my Z28 did it but then it got really bad so I just pulled the fuse... I still have the wiper motor if yo want to buy it

is it the same wiper motor that you had in your car that didnt work and you had to pull the fuse??? if it works and everything i might have to buy it off of you so i can try it and see if it fixes it.

LOL why would I sell a broken one? This is the one I bought to fix mine but I never installed it.. sold the car

hahah, I laughed so hard at the title too. But its true, the wipers are gay how they dont go all the way down. I just hate seeing that bit of unwiped water down there.

You may want to have somebody chck the locking spring inside the motor, thats what is wrong with mine and its getting fixed this week, the spring gets worn out or out of place and the gears wont lock sometimes
