Default Opinions on Tripple Gauge pillars

Let's try this again..

I'm not a huge fan of them..I think they are a little overdone. But I need to mount at least 3 gauges (all being used..non ricer style ) I also don't want to hack out the vents and put them there..the gauges look ok like that in a TA..but not so much in a Camaro.

Does anyone have any pictures of a tripple gauge pod/pillar in their car? Can anyone post pics?

I'm just curious to see what you guys think of them..I don't base what I do to my car on other peoples opinions, so this is just to get a feeling of what you guys think..Are there any other creative places to put gauges?

Camaro_SLP: I was thinking the same thing you where thinking, how 3 gauges in the A pillar may look a little overdone. I also have 3 gauges to mount. I plan to mount 2 in the A pillar and one by the cig. lighter. I will make a custom black plastic panel to cover the opening to the left of it.

I agree looks good, I myself have had people comment on mine a number of times. Only bad thing I found at first you have to get use to them blocking the view a little.

I voted that they're too much, but I didn't realize you were actually going to need them... Definitely get one. If you have 3 gauges, it would be dumb to get a 2 gauge pillar and mount the other one somewhere else. the dash would get cluttered looking IMO.

Go with whats vital and needed. Not no bs gauges that you do not need. Maybe 2 if possible could be enough.

I like'em! Hey Randy WS6 how much do you have in your pillar and gauges? That's close to the set-up that I was planning on using. I like the Cobalt gauges but the Carbon Fiber are my favorite.

If you don't want to hack into the rest of your dash, A piller triples are the way to go. As long as you don't have to look at all 3 at the same time, you're good.

A nitrous guage, a trans temp guage, and a A/F ratio guage for example would be good, because you would normally only look at one of those during a race. You would look at the A/F while tuning, the trans temp after races/while tuning, and the nitrous while tuning. As long as you prioritize them, there's no reason it can't work.

Fuel pressure is also a good one if your running boost or nitrous. Seein as how a loss of fuel pressure can effect alot. Its also good to know if your running too lean/rich at WOT even if your running N/A.
