Gunmetal Metallic SS hardtop w/ black halos (pics)
Got the car back from paint last week and finally had a chance to take some pictures. The color is "Gunmetal Metallic" and as far as I could tell, no one has done this exact color on an f-body yet. If I'm wrong, please correct me. I know several people have done Viper Steel Gray, which is similar. I have a hardtop and I opted to have it done body color, and I think I made the right decision.
The halos were pretty simple to install and are a huge improvement over my stock fogged-up headlights. I tapped into the foglights so the halos come on with them.
A few disclaimers... the car was still a bit wet when I took the pics. It also has not been wetsanded and buffed yet, so there is still some trash in the paint. I'm pretty damn happy though, it looks amazing now and it's only going to look better. I'll have better pics in better lighting once that's all done. The color as seen in the first picture is fairly accurate... the others make it look a bit lighter, almost pewter, when in reality it's more of a deep metallic gray.

Thanks for the kind words guys. The paint is a GM color, used in 2000 by Buick. The light is really deceiving... I used to own a mineral gray Mustang GT (bad idea) and this color is really nothing like it, much darker/grayer. I'd compare it to Ford's dark shadow gray, maybe a bit lighter.
