Just as it says above. What do you do to care for your seals? What products are best?

I have SFC but I haven't put them in my sig yet.
I thought you put some kind of stuff like Armor All or something to keep them from drying out. I thought people might be using different thing. Just wanted some variety.

About every other car wash I coat all the weather stripping around the car in "Black Magic". Kinda like Armorall but better. Keeps them sealed, nice and soft. Get yourself a cotton towl, squirt a small amount on the towel and go down the stripping. Reapply as needed, but dont overdo it cause excessive residue can show up on the windows and stuff.

I've heard to use dielectric grease on seals. Anybody else use it?

I didn't get my SFC till about 8 months ago and I haven't had any issues yet. I have kept my seals clean over time and treated them with AA a few times but I will be going with the Black Magic now. Thanks everyone.

I have subframe connectors and mine still leak where the window meets the t-top. Dielectric grease is what GM recommends.

I like weld-ons myself. This is always a back and forth argument but proper welds are stronger then bolts. you can do a search and read all day about it.

Weld-ons are more solid, but bolt-ins can be taken off easier. It's all a matter of preference really. The sooner you put them on, the better!

Yep thats what GM says. Dont use the armor all or black magic it decreases the life of your seals, over time it will dry out seals. I hear them say it on a restoration show. Only use dielectric grease or silicone!!!!!!

Ditto. Because I dont like dielectric grease I use spray silicone, but either will be effective, and SFCs dont hurt either.

Dielectric grease. I use it on all my seals once a year. Take off the t-tops, open both doors, trunk and hatch. apply dielectric grease to all the seals and let it soak in over night. wipe off excess then you're good to go.

SFC are a must with T-tops, I had mine welded in within the first 1000 miles...
