I vote for body color, similar to the C6. Also a water-tight sealed housings so no water can get inside it and make water spots on the lexan or the paint.

I would recommend very high quality projectors, such as the S2K's or the Bosch E46. They have an exceptional cutoff and pattern with a nice color band. I think the Hella 90mm are pretty darn good as well. I wouldn't recommend a cheap projector to anybody as they will only be disappointed later on.

Those look like they run $300pr. It would be more sensible to get the DOT Hella's for $120pr. and mod them to use the D2S.
I'd rather just spend the time I would've spent modding the unit on somethings else. And that way I know the cut off is right and the housing is done properly for the bulb.

And I'm thinking with the ebay he's talking about units for those cars being $130 although he doesn't seem to understand theres a difference between prices on mass produced and readily available units for cars that already have fixed headlamps or those that have a larger market (ie worldwide instead of mostly domestic), and those that are limited production/first run.

There are add-on halo kits available if that is what you want.

That pic on the blue TA with only 2 projectors is great. No need to jazz it up with a blinker, the idea is to keep it clean, besides we already have blinkers on the bumpers, thats not something you want to draw attention to.

Just my .02.

Im ready for a set but i wonder if anyones really gonna commit and build them.

Normally you would be correct however they are actually uni-directional tires. The inside goes the opposite direction

cgworth, what do you want out of your lights? A better beam spread, sharper cutoff, HID or do you just want to get rid of the popup design?
no screaming eagle **** we all know that it is a differant car, but what does that have to do with the question at hand, its a simple question and if your not the one making the lights then why even bother to answer

guys this is a technical forums so please keep that "almost anything goes" crap out.

IE (keep cussing to a minimum, no bickering/insults, etc)

Seriously, what good does it do to insult each other ? Now back to the topic, LT1-7 if you're reading this, can you give us an update ?
