I've seen them both and it is not even close. The regular ram air design is much nicer. The shapes and curves flow perfectly with the body lines.
The HO scoops are just plain ugly. The lines look like they belong on a different car. The nose integration is also very ugly. The whole thing reaks of poor design and cheap manufacturing.
I'm not going to say the HO is a low quality hood, but it looks poorly designed.

Some aftermarket hoods for the WS6 look don't look like the factory!!! The ram air slots look like they're square cut. I'm not sure what companies look most like stock, but you might want to research which company is best or find a used factory unit which has better fit and finish. Just my $.02

Semp3rFi, if you want to use a different brand, tell us the brand and we will tell you if it is close or identical. It can be tricky sometimes, but I've spent a lot of time studing almost all of the aftermarket TA hoods..

I agree the WS6 hood looks so much better. It just looks plain mean! that other hood just looks funny like someone cut a huge chunk out of your front end. I woild so go with the WS6 hood like I told you in the 1st place cenz !

My opinion is that the WS6 hood looks bad *** and works really well. I dont like the HO hood at all. But I do however like the Raptor hood a whole lot. The raptor looks sweet, i have actually considered getting one for my WS6, but why pay for something else that looks great, when you already have one of the best. But if i didnt have a WS6, the raptor hood would be what i would do. The firehawk hoods look pretty good also. Here is a link to a raptor hood, and be the judge yourself. Tell me what you think?

[QUOTE=JasonWW]He asked about the stock WS6. There are some aftermarket ones that look similar and some that are identical. The ASCD are identical.
Not True. I had an ASCD WS6 hood. It slopes gradually from the nostrils all the way to the edge. This can be seen on the rear of the hood near the windsheild. Look at one head on and you will see what I mean. Also, the groves around the nostril openings are not very deep and poorly copied. That is why I got rid of my ASCD hood and I am getting an OEM one. If not OEM, I would say the US exotics is the next closest thing as far as being accurate to OEM.

Okay, I'll be the first (maybe only ) to vote for the H.O. I had it and loved it... but, I try to be different. I like it because it has the open nostrils of the Firehawk, but the height of the WS6.
