Cool custom ls1 intake with polished radiator shroud

Here are some updated pics of my custom made dual cone air intake in conjunction with my new bmr radiator shroud. Just thought I would share some pics of my engineering skills. Way cheaper to make than to buy a K&N or Volant intake!

Thanks, It is from BMR one of our sponsors. It is of great quality and fitment.
Not that it really matters but both sides of this thing are mirror polished. It is also SS not aluminum.

I too have the polished BMR shroud and use it with my FIPK intake. Works perfectly.

Thanks, I listed one on ebay, I'll see how that goes and then I might start selling them.

I make them out of molded abs and extreme high temp rubber fitting and polised SS band clamp and SS hose clamps. I also fabbed this up. Ram air out of a stock hood which feeds directly to my intake. Whatcha think as far as power gains.

filter came in but now I'll have to figure out how to go from the elongated oval flange coming off the filter to the 31/2 round dia of the MAF end. I didn't pay much attention to this when ordering it.

only a few hours left till auction ends.

I had the ebay auction posted but took it off this post, because I realized I might not have been aloud to post it here.
