Default Need specs on "Ram Air" decal placement

I've bought, had painted, and installed a genuine WS6 hood from my buddy's totaled TA. I've also gotten a pair of genuine GM "Ram Air" decals for the hood, but have no idea on the exact placement (in inches, etc.).

Can someone point me in the right direction or find me a template? I've tried my local Pontiac dealer and ASC to no avail.

BTW, this is the only badging on the car. Everything else has been removed and I don't plan on putting WS6 anything on the car.

Thanks

This is an old thread - but I took these pics before having my hood repainted and thought someone might could use them for reference.

Since this thread has come up recently and other threads are active on the topic, I'll add this thread, which shows the OEM transfer tape and alignment method: https://ls1tech.com/forums/paint-bod...alignment.html

Yah, i've used the painter's tape method. My original hood decals long ago started peeling off, and had to be replaced. Would be good to have a suggested replacement match and source for each paint code.

The OEM decals don't peel off. Only vinyl knock-offs do. The online parts stores allow one to lookup the proper colors. There were simple options. Something like silver for most, black for lighter cars, and then white for the anniversary car.

Whatever parlance is prefered, my oem decals were no longer uniformly adhering to the hood, so I replaced them.

I think it was silver for most, and dark charcoal for the lighter cars, and blue for the anniversary car (to match the stripes). Not sure if the CETA cars had actual black or the dark charcoal color.
