Question swap front ends 98-02 to a 1997 ?

I would like to know if anyone has changed the front end of a 97 or older camaro to the new look of 98-02 ? What parts would i need to change? is it a bolt on process or would i need to change major things? Please help out, am in the process of buying a 97 Z28 and would like to have the new front end on it.

Thanks for any info.............

hood, fenders, front bumper and support, radiator support, headlights, foglamps, with wiring and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. it is best to get a rear ended car, and swap out, that way nothing is left behind. This is what I am prepareing to do myself on my 96, and I have a family member with a salvage yard, so it won't be real bad. good luck

I'm not sure how reliable they are, but I found a front bumper on ebay for 25 + 70 for shipping, and fenders for 50 each + 30 shipping.

those bumpers are repaired, I bought a bumper on ebay a while back for 200 bucks, it was a stock one that was repaired... it eventually broke and made my car look like crap

Why not get the LS1 motor and then downgrade to the 93-96 so you have the better looking frontend? jk, in all seriousness though, you might not need the radiator support. There's a guy on projectcamaro.com who has "upgraded" his Camaro to the 98+ style, and I don't think he had to buy the new radiator support, not sure. His username is meenz28
